Safe Travel
Students at St Peter’s travel to and from school using a variety of modes of transport, including school bus, private parent/carer transport by car, on foot and by bicycle. St Peter’s is situated on Ocean Drive and shares a carpark and drop off/pick up zone with the neighbouring Catholic high school, MacKillop College. Between the schools, over 1700 students are commuting. St Peter’s operates as a School Zone from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 am and from 2:30 pm to 4:00 p m. The School Zones help protect our children on their way to and from school at the times and places where they are often in high numbers. Our students are further supported by a pedestrian crossing supervisor daily. Please note the speed limit during this time is 10 kilometres per hour.
