ELECTIVE SPORTS
TERM 4
In early Term 4, Years 1-6 will kick off their elective sports program. This will be a 4-week program and will include paid sports and a free sport at and outside of school.
The details of each activity are as follows. The Elective Sports Program is compulsory for all students in Years 1-6. The online process will open next week.
The Elective Sport Events will OPEN next Week
Years 1 and 2 will OPEN - Tuesday 23rd September @ 7.00pm
Years 3 and 4 will OPEN - Wednesday 24th September @ 6.30pm
Years 5 and 6 will OPEN - Wednesday 24th September @ 7.00pm
ALL EVENTS WILL CLOSE - FRIDAY 17TH OCTOBER, 2025

- PCYC- The sessions will focus on Gymnastics and Fitness Games @ St Peter's.

- F45- Classes are designed to be fun, positive and engaging, focusing on functional fitness activities, gaining new skills, improving coordination, building strength, and developing resilience and confidence.

- Hydro Golf and Putt Putt- a game of putt putt, plus a bucket of golf balls for Hydro Golf.

- Learn to Surf Classes - This sport is now fully booked. Families have been sent a Compass Notification separately yesterday. Please note, if you are confirmed in Learn to Surf, please consent and pay, and please DO NOT undertake the online process.

POLDING ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS - WHAT A DAY !
It was a wonderful and challenging day for our 19 students at the Polding Athletics Championships in Newcastle last week. Our students gave their all, and it was amazing to witness. The day is extremely competitive and one second or centimetres decides it. Thank you again families, for your wonderful support of your child. A special well done to the following athletes who will compete at the NSWPSSA Athletics Championships in late October:

TIME FOR ANOTHER BANNER !
Our Boys Soccer Team and our Netball Team on Wednesday head to Grafton for the Lismore Diocese Finals Day. We wish our athletes the very best of luck, and we thank Mr Gallery, Mr Murtagh, Miss McKenzie, Miss Wotherspoon and Mrs Cullen for your fantastic support of the teams. We are very fortunate to have teachers with a huge knowledge of a wide range of sports.
ZONE SUMMER SPORTS 2025 -2026
All students have now registered for the upcoming Zone Summer Sports Trials for Years 4 and 5 students.
Cricket - A Compass notification will be sent out shortly to all students who registered. No school trial required.
Tennis - A Compass notification will be sent out shortly to all students who registered. No school trial required.
Basketball - A Compass notification will be sent out shortly to all students who registered. No school trial required.
Touch Football - Trials have commenced for a girls' and boys' team. Thank you again to Mrs Kipreotis and Miss Fowler for assisting with the trial.
