ATHLETICS TRAINING FOR OUR TEAM

A Compass notification will be sent home shortly to all athletes who have made the St Peter’s Athletics Team. To ensure the school team's maximum success, we require all students to attend their weekly training sessions. I am also happy to loan equipment such as a shot put and or discus.

The sessions will be:

POLDING TOUCH TRIALS

Yesterday, Mason Duffy, Nixon Smith, Tasman Lorger and Bonnie Mann were outstanding at the Polding Touch Football Trials in Lake Cathie. I was fortunate enough to be at the event and witness their wonderful skills and teamwork. The competition was outstanding and an amazing effort to get to this level.

POLDING RUGBY UNION TRIALS

Congratulations to Edward Hoy, Nixon Smith and Jai Davis, who were outstanding at the Polding Rugby Union Trials in Forbes. All the boys played very well in a very tough trial. A special congratulations to Jai Davis, who was selected to play for Polding at NSWPSSA.

AFL GALA DAY - REGIONAL CHAMPIONS

On Tuesday, our AFL Team played in the Regional Championships in Coffs Harbour. In what was an amazing day of AFL, we ran out the winners for the day and were the Regional Champions for 2025.

CLASH SPORTING DAYS

We have several sporting days clashing in Term 3 between pathway sport and gala days. Pathway sport is set by the Zone, Diocese CSNSW, NSWPSSA and Sports Australia. Gala Day events are set by the individual organisation.  Although we would love to compete at as many sporting events as possible, unfortunately, clashes do occur annually.
