Well Done Years 3 and 4

Our Year 3 and 4 Rugby League Teams hit the fields on Monday and performed very well against St Agnes' Primary School. Both teams shared the ball very well and displayed wonderful sportspersonship. All students have improved greatly over the year, and have been very passionate about getting active and learning new skills. A huge thank you to Mr Garel, Mr Lacey and Mr Leary for all your wonderful support of the students. Again, we are so very blessed to have families who give up their time to support our students.

Summer Sport Diocese Trials

Week 7 will see a number of students competing at the Lismore Summer Sports Trials in Lismore this Tuesday (Tennis) and Friday (Touch, Cricket and Basketball). A full update will be in next week's Postman Pete. Families, please keep an eye on the St Peter’s Sport Facebook Page for any changes to the days.

NSW or QLD

I’m not sure who was more excited on Wednesday night, Harry Grant who played in his first State of Origin Game for the Queensland Maroons or Mrs Grant who went to the game to watch her nephew tear up the NSW defence and even score a try. For those who don’t know, Mrs Grant loves her sport, and she was torn between supporting NSW or QLD. I call her the Assistant Sports Coordinator and without her, my job would be extremely difficult. She makes my job so much easier.
