COLOUR EXPLOSION RUN FUNDRAISING SUCCESS
A very big thank you to our amazing St Peter’s School community following our Colour Explosion Run. The students raised an amazing total of $26,974! The fundraising company takes a percentage of these funds for their organising costs and prizes, so the school will receive $16,184.40. We know that these fundraisers do not succeed without the support of families so thank you for helping us reach our fundraising goal. We look forward to moving forward with helping the school achieve its goal of a covered walkway entry into school. Prizes will be delivered to school and handed out in early Term 4.

CHOIR AT CONFIRMATION PRESENTATION MASS THIS SUNDAY
Families are warmly invited to join us at St Agnes' Church at 5.00pm for Mass. Our choir will be singing for music ministry, and there will be a Children’s Liturgy of the Word. We hold our young people preparing to make their Sacrament of Confirmation in our hearts as they make their final preparations for next week. May they be ready to accept the gifts of the Holy Spirit so they can continue to grow as steadfast followers of Jesus!
YEAR 3 CELEBRATION OF THE WORD
RENEWED SCIENCE ENTHUSIASM IN YEAR 3
Year 3 has been learning about the benefits of Renewable Energy sources, including Wind, Water and Solar Energies. Their 'Design-and-Make' task required them to create a project using one of these renewable energies. Some of the projects included a wind-powered hoverboard, a wind-powered car, a solar oven, a wind-powered boat and even a saltwater-powered propeller! There were also water wheels, wind-powered air balloons and wind turbines.
Congratulations Year 3! Budding scientists in the making!
YEAR 1 GEOGRAPHERS
In Geography, students have developed an understanding of how places can be cared for. They have been investigating the reasons why people go to parks and conducted a class survey. Students had to identify the natural and built features and listen to explanations from a Ranger, a Volunteer and a Park Designer. Students designed, drew and labeled their park before building a 3D model.
